| A gradual flight of steps leads down from the parking area to enter through an arched doorway into a very private walled garden, on two levels, and to the house itself. The available space within the house is remarkably well utilized and the owners have made sure that some of the quirky old features remain to complement the modern furnishings. On the top level a very attractive covered dining area has windows that fold back completely, making it an all-weather room that bridges outdoor and indoor living. Yet another dining area by the plunge pool extends the options for that most desirable of holiday activities – eating out of doors, by candlelight or even moonlight. Steps from the lower terrace lead down to the Rou Gym, Granary treatment rooms and communal pool. |
