Walking through the front door of Zografia for the first time, you are greeted by a stunning view of the sea, a view that is repeated with subtle variations from all the rooms on the ground and top floor. A wall of windows opens off the sitting room on to a gorgeous covered terrace, furnished for relaxing or dining in comfort out of doors. The view from the pool terrace is quite superb – Soukia Bay, perfectly shaped, jewel-coloured, flanked by sheltering headlands. A footpath leads down through the olive grove to the small beach, and to a boat mooring. Zografia is a perfect place in which to spend a delightfully self-indulgent holiday. In high season, parents with older children will find that suitable amusements are very accessible for their teenage offspring. A Cook Service is available on request, at an additional cost. |
